Where diversitytransforms into community

A reflection group consists of six people, as diverse as possible in origin, age, gender and culture. As multifaceted as our society. Each participant has a different background, experiences and attitudes. Nevertheless, everyone has the right to receive the same attention and appreciation. Introverts are encouraged to express themselves; extroverts can learn to listen.

All participants are anonymous and remain anonymous. It’s not your ID or what you look like that counts. It’s the stories you share and the ones that move you.

Through the consistant constellations within the groups people get to know, understand and mostly support each other even better. The unique balance between familiarity and anonymity creates a helpful and beneficial sense of community.

YOUR GROUP DOESN'T ALWAYS TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR. BUT IT'S ALWAYS GOOD TO HEAR WHAT YOUR GROUP IS TELLING YOU.

Always new perspectives

Just as important as the affinity of a familiar group are new perspectives. For this reason, the composition of existing groups changes from time to time. This might occur by filling a vacancy, or by assembling a new group. These careful changes in the groups are an important element of Essence and will be announced well in advance so that you can adjust to them with tranquility.
